Privacy Policy

When you create an account we store your email address, the name you choose to provide, and authentication records needed to keep you signed in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email, profile image) from Google — we never receive or store your Google password.

Passwords for email accounts are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form. BuilderIQ staff cannot read your password.

We store the content you generate so the product can work for you across sessions:

• Your assessment answers (skills, interests, hours, income goal, budget, notes)
• Your matched business models and generated 90-day roadmap
• Your task checklist and completion progress
• Your private notes
• Your AI coach conversations, and any screenshots you choose to upload
• Any review you submit, including its rating, text and approval status

This content is private to your account. Access is restricted at the database level so other customers cannot read it. Screenshots you upload to the AI coach are stored in private storage tied to your account — please avoid uploading sensitive personal or financial information.

Reviews are not published automatically. Every review starts as pending and appears publicly only after we approve it. When a review is published we show the star rating, the review text, and your first name if one is available. We do not publish your email address, account details, assessment answers, or any other private information.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout. BuilderIQ does not receive or store your full card number, CVC, or other raw payment credentials.

We store the subscription information we need to give you access: a Stripe customer and subscription reference, the product and price you purchased, your subscription status, and the current billing period dates.

Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep your session secure. These are always active — the product cannot function without them.

Analytics cookies are optional. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors move through the site so we can improve it. Analytics does not load and no analytics events are sent unless you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. Choosing "Essential only" keeps analytics off entirely.

Analytics data is limited to non-identifying information such as pages viewed, which buttons were clicked, funnel steps reached, and campaign labels (for example a UTM source from a link you clicked). We never send your email, your name, your assessment answers, your notes, or your AI coach conversations to analytics.

You can change your choice at any time: reopen cookie preferences.

We use your information to run BuilderIQ: to authenticate you, to generate your matches and roadmap, to power the AI coach, to process subscriptions, to send account emails such as verification and password resets, and to respond to support requests. Your assessment content is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your recommendations and coaching replies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content to advertise to you.

BuilderIQ relies on a small number of providers to operate: a hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, an email delivery provider for account emails, an AI model provider for recommendations and coaching, and Google Analytics when you have accepted analytics cookies.

We keep your account content while your account is active. If you would like your account and its content deleted, email admin@builderiqhq.com from your account email address and we will process the request. Some records, such as billing history, may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.

You can update your details inside the app, change your cookie preferences at any time, request a copy of your data, or request deletion by emailing us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law.

We may update this page as BuilderIQ changes. Material changes will be reflected here, and continuing to use BuilderIQ after an update means the updated policy applies.
